Training for Elected Dalit Women Members at Tikapur Municipality

The Center for Dalit Women Nepal (CDWN) is proud to host a Training for Elected Dalit Women Members workshop focused on understanding Thematic Committees and Responsibilities in Local Governance.

Held in Tikapur Municipality, this workshop is designed to empower Elected Dalit Women Representatives (EDWRs) by strengthening their leadership capabilities and enhancing their skills for active participation and decision-making at the local level.

This training is part of the Fostering Effective and Inclusive Sub-National Governance Program, organized in partnership with The Asia Foundation and the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Together, we are building a foundation for inclusive governance, gender equality, and social justice—ensuring Dalit women leaders are equipped to lead change in their communities.
