Community Action Plan - Sarlahi
Under our 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐫𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚 Project, CDWN and NDSS continue facilitating Community Action Plan (CAP) sessions to engage communities in addressing critical social issues. Recently, CAP sessions were conducted in Sarlahi focusing on violence against women and child marriage.
With the support of representatives from Nepal Police as facilitators, participants were able to learn more about legal provisions, reporting processes, and available support and protection mechanisms for survivors.
The session encouraged open discussion, awareness, and collective action towards creating safer communities.
This initiative is supported by the Embassy of Finland in Kathmandu with technical support from UN Women Nepal .
