Capacity Building Workshop

The Center for Dalit Women Nepal (CDWN), in collaboration with Nepal Dalit Sewa Samaj (NDSS), conducted a three-day capacity development workshop aimed at strengthening staff skills in non-violent conflict transformation, survivor-centered support, and organizational effectiveness. Facilitated by Ramji Prasad Neupane and Stella Tamang, the sessions included participatory exercises, role plays, conflict mapping, and practical tools for non-violent communication. Participants explored organizational dynamics, target beneficiary priorities, theory of change, and approaches to peace-building, emphasizing the integration of empathy, self-care, and collective action. The workshop reinforced the importance of dialogue, collaboration, and people-centered strategies to empower marginalized women and foster a resilient, conflict-sensitive organizational culture.
