𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥

Representatives from CDWN, NDSS, and our Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under our Hamro Sahakarya project recently met with Hon’ble Sita Badi, Minister of Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities, and Social Security to formally submit two critical attention letters aimed at driving policy reform, as part of our Community Action Plan.

 

Our advocacy focuses on:

 Effective Implementation of Gender-Responsive Budgeting (GRB) at the Local Level.

Strengthening the GBV Prevention Fund: Enhancing the mobilization and utility of the fund to provide immediate, accessible support for survivors.

 

These concerns are deeply rooted in the lived experiences and collective recommendations of women and marginalized communities. Our goal is to bring these grassroots concerns to the center of policy discourse and strengthen inclusive, accountable governance.

 

We remain committed to partnering with policymakers to build a just, equitable, and inclusive society.
