WOMEN LEADERSHIP TRAINING

CDWN, in consortium with NDSS, is conducting a 3-day Women Leadership Training to strengthen the leadership and advocacy skills of 15 elected women representatives (EWRs) and 5 Self-Help Group (SHG) members from Sarlahi and Kavre under the Hamro Sahakarya Project.

 

This training aims to equip Dalit Women Representatives (DWRs), EWRs and our SHG members with the confidence, skills, and knowledge to challenge gender discrimination, break harmful social norms, and foster gender equality in their communities. By fostering gender equality, we aim to strengthen women's leadership roles in decision-making spaces and drive positive change in their communities.

 

This initiative "Hamro Sahakarya" funded by the Embassy of Finland in Nepal with support from UN Women, Led by the Center for Dalit Women Nepal (CDWN) and Nepal Dalit Sewa Samaj focuses on transforming discriminatory social norms and fostering gender equality through community-driven efforts.
