Regular activities under our 𝑯𝒂𝒎𝒓𝒐 𝑺𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒓𝒚𝒂 Project

This year is focused on organizing and collective action. Participants are learning how change happens in society and how they can be part of that change. Through open discussions, they are exploring ways to work with their families, communities, and local leaders to bring positive and lasting change by addressing harmful social norms.

 

These sessions also allow participants to reflect on their three-year journey with HamroSahakarya and prepare themselves for long-term transformation in their communities. At the same time, Community Action Plan (CAP) activities are being carried out to address important issues like child marriage, caste-based discrimination and other harmful norms, led by the community itself.

 

This initiative "Hamro Sahakarya" funded by the Embassy of Finland in Kathmandu with support from UN Women Nepal , Led by the Center for Dalit Women Nepal (CDWN) and Nepal Dalit Sewa Samaj focuses on transforming discriminatory harmful social norms and fostering gender equality through community-driven efforts.
