GEDSI AUDIT WORKSHOP

CDWN organized the "Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Audit" workshop in TansenMunicipality.

This audit aims to assess how effectively GEDSI principles are integrated into local governance structures, policies, and practices, identifying gaps and opportunities to make governance more inclusive and equitable for all. By examining the existing systems and structures, the audit will provide a comprehensive understanding of how gender equality, disability inclusion, and social equity are being addressed at the local level. This workshop will also provide a platform for stakeholders, including local government officials, civil society organizations, and community members, to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaborate on improving policies and practices that promote inclusivity.

This workshop is part of the Fostering Effective and Inclusive Sub-National Governance Program, in partnership with The Asia Foundation and the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, aimed at fostering more accountable and participatory governance at the local level.
