Discussion Program On the occasion of 54 years since Nepal ratified the ICERD

On the occasion of 54 years since Nepal ratified the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), a consultation program was held with the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee to approve the points of disagreement raised by Nepal in the agreement and to ensure the effective implementation of the recommendations provided by the periodic report.The program saw insightful discussions among key stakeholders, emphasizing the need for policy reforms and stronger implementation mechanisms.
