Project Objective

  1. To strengthen local governments systems and procedures and make them more GEDSI responsive and accountable
  2. To facilitate spaces to enhance understanding of municipal officials (people with power) on matter of equality and inclusion at the sub-national governance level 
  • To createopportunities for effective participation of women and marginalized constituencies (including elected representatives and citizens from these groups) in subnational governments’ planning cycle and decision-making process
