Sanchita Maharjan manages the She Leads-Nepal Project being implemented in partnership with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). She belongs to the Newar community and lives in Kathmandu. She received her M.A. in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies from Tribhuvan University. Having worked in the education sector for a long time, she has a wide range of experience including conflict resolution, human rights, GESI, livelihoods, and governance. Her previous engagements were with Fair Trade Group Nepal, the SAMATA foundation and the Forum for Protection of Public Interest. She is dedicated to working for women and marginalized communities, both personally and professionally.
